After months (and months [and months]) of procrastinating, I’ve started to make some real progress on the wedding plans. The whole concept of having to plan so much stuff, and organise so many people petrifies me, so my plan has been to avoid getting started. But at the end of the day I’m my own biggest critic… so I’ve decided to attempt to impress myself instead.

Last month I made the horrendous discovery that the wedding dress I bought when we first got engaged doesn’t fit any more. No real surprise considering that was more than *cough* five *cough* years  ago, but apparently it’s common for a women’s back to broaden in her early 20s and no amount of weight loss is going to help.  So this weekend’s task is to find myself a new dress.

Given the venue & food are sorted, the next most important thing in my opinion is the photographer, then the entertainment & finally the cake, flowers & other finishing touches. Invitations are high on the list – but I’ve not decided how to approach those yet – buy them, design them, get them designed? So many decisions!

One huge thing for me, is that I’m happy with the website now – I’ve got it ready and setup to handle RSVPing & important info before the wedding, and after the wedding it’ll be a photo gallery where guests can upload photos.

That’s it from me for today, more at the weekend no doubt!
