Everything non wedding related that I had planned is now done!

Mum has arrived for the wedding & it all seems so imminent! Exciting & scary!

Another shift in the forecast, and a case of some good news, and some bad news. The bad news is that some showers are now showing up on the system for Saturday. The good news however is two fold. Firstly, the showers are brief, and there will be no deluge to ruin the day, and secondly, because they are showing now and not in the next 24 hours, (do you remember from yesterday about Thursday being a crucial day in the weather build-up), there is a very good chance they will indeed clear out of Saturday. At the moment, Thursday will see just a couple of showers, nothing problematic, with Friday like many places in the UK now seeing either rain, sleet, or snow, and in your case, with temperatures in the 5 to 6 Celsius bracket, rain. The main bulk of the rain clears away during Friday night to leave the stragglers, in the form of those relatively fleeting showers for Saturday. By ceremony time, we are now looking at 5c/41f, so feeling mild, and hopefully tomorrow night, I’ll be able to tell you what few showers there are around for your day, have cleared away. The cloud does look fairly well fragmented, so I’m anticipating some spells of sunshine for Saturday. PWS will update tomorrow evening.
