Venue
We’re getting married at Hothorpe Hall in Theddingworth, near Market Harborough where we used to live (see the picture above!). Hothorpe Hall is a gorgeous old country manor set in lovely Midlands countryside. The current house was built in 1799, but it’s history dates back to 900AD.
The house will accommodate us for the whole day, from arrival and the ceremony, to a drinks reception and wedding breakfast and finally onwards into the evening reception and serving as somewhere to crash at the end of what will hopefully be a fabulous day. Throughout the day we will move to various rooms, each one specially prepared for it’s function. We will start off upstairs in the blue room which seats around 90 people and end up in The Trafford Lounge which has a (reasonably priced) fully licensed bar that will be open from around 12pm (for dutch courage where necessary 😉 ).
Hothorpe has around 50 guest rooms offered as a B&B that will be available for guests to stay after the wedding, please see the accommodation page for more details. There is also an unstaffed nursery that will be available on the day full of toys for the little ones and a chapel which will be a great place for photographs
Address: Hothorpe Hall, Theddingworth, Leicestershire LE17 6QX
