Woah, it’s been a month! I haven’t written much, but lots has been going on – it just hasn’t been very interesting! Invitations will be sent in September and bookings for rooms at the venue will be open around the same time.
I will be back writing more here soon, but for now here’s the new forecast for you all to see – it’s looking promising
Current projections for Winter 2010/11 still indicate a winter on a par with last year, perhaps not as bad, but certainly in line with the typical British winter’s of yesteryear. In the run-up to the wedding, December looks essentially, a cold but dry month. Temperatures on or below average, but the emphasis on the month in general being dry, with below average rainfall for a good proportion of the UK. As we go into 2011, early pointers suggest a continuation of this theme, so we may well start the new year on a dry but cold note. January itself won’t stay this way, with temperatures falling away significantly, and with it, snowfall of sustained proportions. However, for the start of the month, perhaps a dry and settled phase of weather to usher in 2011. Sunshine by day, harsh frosts by night. Temperature wise, 4 to 6 Celsius at best probably, and this is not likely to change. There is no suggestion of any mild conditions for January at any point. So, in conclusion, a slight shift from the last forecast, but over all, no great change. Long range forecasting remains really in its infancy, but this morning, this is possibly one of the most accurate available for a period 5 months distant.
